This week, along with the announcement that we closed our seed funding round, Nathan Kundtz, our CEO, was interviewed in TechCrunch by Aria Alamalhodaei.
The article offers a great summary of the problems that customers encounter when using data from real sensors to train AI. Synthetic data provides an achievable, signficant solution to these problems, but as Nathan says, we are not focused on simple datasets:
“What we’re pushing towards is, [a platform capability and experience such that] anybody who can click a button in a browser can generate synthetic data, and not just synthetic data but can really control the types of synthetic data that they want and can introduce that into the rest of a machine learning workflow.”
